JOB TITLE: Groundskeeper
NATURE OF WORK: Duties consist of general grounds keeping task including but not limited to the following essential duties and responsibilities:

RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS:
The Grounds Keeping Employee has frequent encounters with students, faculty, and staff throughout the campus. Therefore, Grounds Keeping employees must maintain a helpful and positive demeanor while interacting with anyone on the campus of Truett-McConnell College.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION:
The Grounds Keeping Employee is supervised directly by the Facilities Director and takes direction when needed from the Administrative Assistant.
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Grounds Keeping Employee must exhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethic and the ability to learn grounds keeping job skills. The Groundskeeper must have the ability to work well with limited supervision and to appropriately organize their time and materials to function efficiently. Performance of job duties may require driving a Truett-McConnell College vehicle. If so, a current driver’s license is required as well as acceptance by Truett-McConnell College’s automobile insurance company.
