Dr. Mac Brunson, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida spoke on the issue of believers living with fear in their lives. He expounded on John 20:19 and explained the intense need for us to learn to give our fears over to the Lord in order to live fully. These were the five points Dr. Brunson gave on what fear does to a person:

  1. Fear will grip your life if you disregard the Word of God.
  2. Fear will discourage you when you disbelieve His promises.
  3. Fear will rob you of joy.
  4. Fear will rob you of hope.
  5. Fear dissipates when Christ enters your life.

Dr. Brunson encouraged all believers to find freedom from fear in Christ Jesus.
