Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with a Concentration in Biblical and Theological Studies
The Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies is designed for students who wish to prepare themselves for full-time or part-time Christian ministry in any form—i.e., to be pastors, ministers of education, ministers of youth, Christian counselors, missionaries and others. The degree program emphasizes a broad general education foundation followed by classes in biblical studies, biblical languages, theology and practical ministry. Students should expect a rigorous academic environment in which they can mature in their discipleship and scholarship and be prepared to continue their education in seminary or graduate school.
The Concentration in Biblical and Theological Studies prepares students for the pastorate or for further education at a seminary or other graduate-level program. The curriculum focuses on the biblical text, theological studies, language skills, and practical ministry.
