Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with a Concentration in Missions
The Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies is designed for students who wish to prepare themselves for full-time or part-time Christian ministry in any form—i.e., to be pastors, ministers of education, ministers of youth, Christian counselors, missionaries and others. The degree program emphasizes a broad general education foundation followed by classes in biblical studies, biblical languages, theology and practical ministry. Students should expect a rigorous academic environment in which they can mature in their discipleship and scholarship and be prepared to continue their education in seminary or graduate school.
The Concentration in Missions prepares students for evangelism and ministry in a variety of cultural and religious settings both foreign and domestic. The curriculum focuses on the basic theological disciplines with an additional emphasis in understanding and communicating the gospel cross-culturally.
