The Master of Arts in Theology at Truett-McConnell College equips students to fulfill the Great Commission by fostering a Christian worldview through a biblically –centered education by offering the finest traditions of liberal arts with the growing demand for Christian professionals. With a Masters of Arts in Theology, students will be able to discover and apply the meaning of any biblical text using appropriate language tools, understand and communicate biblical-theological content, and provide biblical counsel, administration, and leadership within and outside the local church.
The Master of Arts in Theology degree provides a foundation of knowledge and skills in the areas of classical theological studies and applied ministry. Students will receive training in classical theological studies, such as: biblical exegesis and systematic theology, Baptist history, and apologetics. Students will also receive training in applied ministry courses such as: local church internship, preaching lab, and cross-cultural ministries practicum.
