What's Next?
Congratulations on your acceptance to Truett-McConnell College. We are so excited that you will soon be joining the TMC community. Now that you are accepted, you are probably wondering, "What's next?" With that in mind, we created this page to help guide you through the process from now to your arrival on campus.
FASFA and Financial Aid
Students applying for Financial Aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. When completing the FAFSA, please make sure TMC receives your information by using the school code 001597. The FAFSA can be filed beginning January 1 and should be submitted by June 1 for priority consideration. All other financial aid questions can be directed to Financial Aid Office at 706-865-2134, ext. 246. Once all required forms have been submitted, the Financial Aid Office can send you an award letter.
Enrollment Deposit
Once you have made your decision to attend Truett-McConnell College, you should submit a $150 enrollment deposit to secure your space in the incoming class. $100 of this is a tuition deposit and $50 covers the student orientation fee. The tuition deposit will be credited to your student account and is refundable up to 30 days before the first day of class. Requests for refunds must be made in writing to the Admissions Office.
PRE-REGISTRATION DATES SUMMER 2013
Once the tuition deposit is paid, students may then attend one of the pre-registration days to secure a class schedule for the fall. You should receive information in the mail on how to sign up for your day of choice. The dates for summer 2013 are:

Final Transcripts
Upon graduation, accepted high school students must submit a final transcript reflecting senior year credits, grades, final rank in class, and date of graduation. Transfer students must submit a final transcript of all work completed at all colleges and universities previously attended.
Housing Information
To make your request for housing, please complete the Housing Application located in your acceptance packet and return it along with the $100 housing deposit. For information on housing options including room dimensions, amenities and what to bring, please visit the housing section of our website.
Students who submit their pre-tuition deposit by July 1 can expect to receive their housing assignment by mid-July.
Off Campus Housing
Students desiring to live off campus are required to complete the Commuter Application located in the acceptance packet. Please read the criteria for a commuting student at Truett-McConnell College.

Move-In Day / New Student Orientation
Please read the following criteria to determine when your move-in day and new student orientation begins.
All first time college students, ages 17-20, will attend THRIVE beginning on Saturday, August 17 at 6 p.m. (Click here for full schedule of THRIVE.)
All other new students will attend Drive on Monday, August 19 at 4 pm.

Payment
All fees for a semester (including tuition, room, board, and fees) are due two weeks before the first day of class for that semester. Individuals registering after the payment due date must pay in full at registration.
Move-In Day
New students, depending on age and classification, will move in on either Saturday, August 17, or Monday, August 19. Visit our Move to Truett page for more information about this exciting time.
