Truett-McConnell College is committed to the residential college experience and thus expects traditional-aged, single students to live in campus housing. Application eligibility for residing off campus entails the following criteria:
Students who are eligible to apply to live off campus must complete a Commuter Application and receive written permission from Truett-McConnell prior to entering into any agreements for off campus housing. Forms are available from Admissions and Student Development or you may print the form and mail it to:
Truett-McConnell CollegeAttn: Admissions100 Alumni DriveCleveland, GA 30528
Applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the academic term.
Truett-McConnell offers a limited number of two-bedroom units for married and other non-traditional students, all unfurnished. Students who desire this type of housing should contact Student Development at the earliest possible date. Assignments are made according to the date of receipt of the housing application in conjunction with availability. A key and damage deposit must be paid upon receipt of a housing assignment.
For availability and additional information contact Havilah Miller at ext. 123.
Make sure you submit your housing application along with your $150 enrollment fee to the Admissions Office in order to ensure your best opportunity for your preferred housing assignment. If you are hoping to live off campus, you will need to visit the off campus housing options page for a list of criteria and an application. Visit our Move to Truett page for more information about moving in this fall.
Living on campus is an important part of the overall educational and discipleship experience at TMC. We are committed to the development of students into disciples of Christ and seek to further this goal through living, learning, playing, praying, and studying God's word together in our residence hall communities.
We seek to build God-honoring communities that both challenge and support residents, as well as build and strengthen relationships. Resident Directors offer primary leadership for each of our residence hall communities, and are supported by student Resident Assistants. Our staff to student ratio is approximately 1:20.
Regardless of which residence hall you live in, you will become part of a community committed to your Christian discipleship and academic success.

Housing Assignment Process
Off Campus Housing
If you have paid your tuition deposit, completed a housing application, and paid your housing deposit, we can place you in campus housing. Please make sure you tell us about any specific roommate or location requests on the housing application. Assignments will be sent out mid-July for everyone who has deposited by July 1.
Students who complete the housing application and/or pay their deposit(s) after July 1 will be assigned on a rolling basis as new applications come in and space is available.
New students entering campus housing for spring semester will receive a housing assignment prior to the start of the semester once the tuition deposit, housing deposit, and completed housing application have been received.
Students who live in campus housing will have the opportunity to select their housing assignment for the next semester prior to the end of the current semester. Specific dates and times will be communicated through Truett-McConnell e-mail, as well as by your Resident Director and Resident Assistants.
Students who currently commute to Truett-McConnell and wish to secure a space in on-campus housing should complete a housing application and pay the housing deposit to the Admissions office. These students will be assigned housing through the same process as new students.
