New Student Orientation
THRIVE
Fall New Student Orientation or, THRIVE, will be held Saturday, August 17th, through Monday, August 19, 2013. We desire for each student to not merely survive the next four years, but thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. All first-time students, ages 17-20, enrolling full-time are expected to attend this three-day program, which is designed to equip new students with the tools and information needed to successfully transition to TMC. Students should plan to arrive at the Front Lawn at 6:00pm Saturday evening directly following New Student Move-In that day from 9:00am-2:00pm. Please note that students should not plan other activities during orientation. For additional information, contact the Office of Student Development, 706-865-2134 ext. 123.
DRIVE
Fall Orientation for transfers and students age 21 and over, known as DRIVE, will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 4:00pm. During this one-night orientation, students will receive the information and support they need to achieve their academic goals and make the most of their time at Truett-McConnell College. Please note that students should not plan other activities during orientation. For additional information, contact the Office of Student Development, 706-865-2134 ext. 123.
Please read the following criteria to see when your new student orientation begins.
All first time college students, ages 17-20, will attend THRIVE beginning on Saturday, August 17 at 6:00p.m. (Click here for full schedule of THRIVE.)
All other new students will attend Drive on Monday, August 19 at 4:00pm.
Students should look for more information to arrive in the mail approximately two weeks before the beginning of new student orientation.
Spring New Student Orientation
Spring New Student Orientation or, THRIVE, will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We desire for each student to thrive academically, socially, and spiritually at Truett-McConnell. All new students are expected to attend this program, which is designed to equip new students with the tools and information needed to successfully transition to TMC. This is when you will receive your student I.D. and parking pass. Please note that students should not plan other activities during orientation.
