Why Truett Online?

Truett-McConnell College offers bachelor degrees in Business and Christian Studies. The difference in Truett Online is that we offer classes taught from a biblical worldview.

What does this mean for you?

This means that each class you take, whether math, English, history, business, etc. will emphasize and examine how they relate to the Bible. You not only receive a quality education but one that focuses on what matters most, what God’s word says.

Why is this important for you?

In today’s society, ethical businessmen are few and far between. As a business major, you will be taught how to operate your business while still remaining ethical and true to scripture.

As a christian studies major, you will be taught by conservative professors that stand firm in their Christian beliefs and have all agreed to teach their subject matter through a biblical worldview.

How will you benefit?

As a Truett Online graduate, you will not only be equipped academically to succeed in your profession but to also face the world knowing God’s truth and feeling confident to proclaim it to others.

How Do I Know If Online Learning is Right For Me?

A prospective online learning student should consider the following issues before enrolling in an online course or degree program:

  • Time Management – Can you balance your time among courses, family, and work?
  • Motivation – Are you motivated to take the course / degree and complete it?
  • Flexibility – If you like flexibility (taking courses on your own time), then online learning may be for you.
  • Self-Directed – You will receive some instruction and direction in an online course, but a lot of the learning will be self-directed; you are in charge of how you learn.

What is the Online Learning Experience Like?

In most cases, it’s not like a regular classroom. Online learning courses are provided through some type of technology (in some cases streaming audio or video). You will have the flexibility of accessing your course on your own time. You’ll also find that you will be able to interact with the instructor and fellow students more often through mediated channels (forums, email, and chat) than you would be able to do in a classroom environment.
