TMC Music Professor Nominated for 2014 Dove Award

CLEVELAND, Ga., (TMNews)—Dennis Allen, an Assistant Professor of Worship and Church Music at Truett-McConnell College, and wife Nan, three time Dove Award winners, were announced in an August 13 press release as Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Award nominees for Youth Musical/Collection of the Year with their project '10,000 Reasons.'

The Allen's have received over a dozen similar nominations through the years from the GMA. Their writing career in Christian Music has spanned over 30 years and has included hundreds of projects for adults, students and children.

10,000 Reasons showcases contemporary arrangements of today's most popular worship songs and was recorded live by a student choir in Fla.

The 45th annual GMA Dove Awards will be held October 7 at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn.
